At long last, the inaugural Angular Space Meetup has a confirmed date.
Signals are fundamentally changing the way developers approach reactivity in Angular
→ Starting from v16 with signal, computed, and effect
→ Through the stabilized resources in v20
→ And on to upcoming enhancements in forms and router — this is only the beginning.
With that in mind, the first Angular Space Meetup dedicates its entire session to “The Future of Signals.”
Date: August 27, 5 PM UTC
🎙 Host: Armen Vardanyan – Angular GDE, writer of Modern Angular, and a leading contributor to Angular Space
🎤 Guest: Michael Small – Frontend Lead at Relationship One, contributor to ngrx-toolkit, and the mind behind allEventsSignal in ngxtension
The conversation will span:
✅ Using signals in new projects versus integrating them into existing codebases
✅ How libraries are adopting signals
✅ Comparing RxJS and signals — tradeoffs and real-world interoperability
✅ Strategies for migration, along with potential pitfalls
✅ Where signals deliver the most value in production environments
