What Practitioners Reported About Micro Frontend Adoption
Although many viewpoints exist on Micro Frontend architectures, a broad consensus holds that this approach carries a set of implications. In a survey carried out during autumn 2023, 153 practitioners shared the outcomes they witnessed after putting this architectural pattern into practice.
The survey was designed to clarify the following points:
- Which advantages did practitioners encounter, and how strongly did they assess their positive effect?
- Which disadvantages were noted by practitioners, and how severely did they rate their negative effect?
- How did practitioners address these disadvantages, and what level of success did the selected remedies achieve?
